Each dog is an individual, with unique training requirements. Each owner is unique as well, with varying time commitments and personality traits. You may have a brand new puppy that needs to learn basic manners, or a rescue dog that is 2 years old with no training, or you might have an aggressive dog that needs some extra work. Guess what? I can help you with all of your needs – basic or advanced.

I am not interested in a long-term relationship with your dog – I’m interested in creating a long-term relationship between you and your dog. In most cases, only a few lessons is all it will take to eradicate most unwanted behavior!

Call or email me to book a consultation and we will see where to go from there:

  1. How does boot camp work? If a person “gives” you their dog for boot camp, do they get it back? If they do, how long is the dog gone for? What is the general fee for something like this?

    • Thank you for your email, bootcamp is a 10 day training designed for the harder to handle dogs who need more then basic obedience. Yes you get your dog back and when your dog comes home I spend at least 1-2 hours with you showing you all that we did and how we did it so you can keep up the ongoing training. Not all dogs qualify for boot camp, that will be determined after an assesment of your needs, and the dogs needs. Boot camp is only for extreme cases that unless we come in the dog will either be given away or put down, boot camp is a last resort in most cases, not all but usually for people who have tried everything else and they need that extra training that they cant find anywhere else. I have many clients who have gone through boot camp and are very greatful as they now have great dogs after lots of hard work. Boot camp is $700 for the entire 10 days plus the session with me afterwards. If you need more info please feel free to contact us again.

    • I also have a deaf dog and it is pretty easy to teach them hand signs, a consult is $45. If you would like to set up a consult please email or call and we can set up a date and time. Thank you for your email.

    • Depending on the area in which you live you can get a kennel licence, its up to your township whether you get one or not? It would also depend on why you want one? The city does not hand out kennel licences easily there is a lot of red tape to go through. Hope this helps you.

  2. are your rates posted above per session? how close should the sessions be? i.e once a week? we have a very energetic texas heeler. he is about 6 months now and we could definatly use some help.

    • Thanks for the email,

Yes my rates are per session and a session can be from one hour to one and a half hours, as for how close the sessions need to be that is up to you whether you would like weekly or bi-weekly of even monthly depends on you guys. Now if you want great results I recommend weekly so you can learn quicker and the dog progresses faster. I find if there is too much time between sessions the dog gets bored and people loose the drive to continue as well because of boredom, training needs to be fun and positive for both the dog and the humans. Hope you find this helpful, feel free to contact me again if you need anything else.
